blood, sweat and tears

So here it is, my 2008 calendar for MHTN. Yes, there was blood (paper cuts), sweat (collating 500 in 3 hours) and tears (very stressed out because I was not sure how they were going to be received). But, they were worth it. Don't you think it looks great! If you would like one let me know and I would be happy to drop one in the mail. I plan on entering this into a few design competitions... lets keep our fingers crossed.

Okay, so I actually won this back in September, but I keep forgetting to post something about it. In September I was awarded an American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA Magazine for my 2007 Calendar (pictured below). I am super excited to have received this award. Check it out!

This one is a tribute to bubbles... he/she passed away a few days ago, and although this really doesn't resemble him/her, it is a goldfish none-the-less.

Last, but not least, this is Henry (he is one of my favorite). He spends his days hanging out in the big 'ol blue. You can't help smile when you see him.



If you have any ideas for me on other creatures or animals I should add to my family, please share. Or, if you have any story lines about any of these animals, I would love to hear them. I dream of writing a children's story, but I haven't come up with a good story yet.

For those who know me, I am a little obsessed with stationary, pens, and fine office supplies. So, it would only be natural then to start a business doing something that I love (drawing and designing), and maybe mix it with some of my obsessions, right?
